German Parliamentarians address alleged secret detention facilities in Ethiopia

Following media reports that CIA and FBI had transferred «black sites» from European territory to Ethiopia, German MPs raised an official request to the government asking for clarification. The official answer consists of two sentences:
«The Ethiopian prime minister ensured the EU Ambassador in Ethiopia on 18.4.2007 that there exist no secret detention facilities. The German federal government does not have any further information».
