Muslim radicalism ‘on the rise’ survey finds

A new poll shows that half of Italians believe that Islamic extremism is growing in their country and over 50% believe it to be an increasing worldwide threat. Most Italians believe that immigrants do not want to integrate, while less than one third blame the lack of Italian integrative infrastructure. The results of the survey came as the 2007 Migration Integration Policy Index was launched, placing Italy in the top half of the index.
