The review of the literature about research in the field of precarious employement has been established by a member of the Dep. of Labour, but the views expressed are those of the author. The paper reviews provides an introduction to the different types of ’non-standard’ employement and ’precariousness’, such as poverty. It distinguishes between non-standard work and precarious labour.
