The french agreement, called « Modernizing the labour market », has been signed at the 11the of January 2008. Most observers presents it as the french way to flexicurity. The agreement contents new rules to dismiss employees more easyly. The main innovation is the flexible definition of the « testing time » after a new engagement. Another innovation is the possibility to put a end to a contract without dismissial if the employee/worker agrees.
