Conference : Post-enlargement Challenges to the Free Movement of Workers in the EU, 15th September 2008

The Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) is co-organizing, together with the Commissioner for Civil Rights Protection in Poland and the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a Conference on:

«Post-enlargement Challenges to the Free Movement of Workers in the EU»

This event will take place in Brussels on the 15th September 2008 from 12:00 till 17:30 at the CEPS (Place du Congrès, 1 - 1000 Brussels).

This event will aim at providing a forum for policy makers, social partners, civil society actors and academics to exchange views on the current treatment of A8 migrant workers within the EU and to test and develop the thinking in the field in the prospect of future developments the opening of the labour market to A2 workers. The Conference falls within the framework of CHALLENGE- The Changing Landscape of European Liberty and Security, a five-year research project funded by the Sixth Framework Research Programme of the Directorate-General for Research of the European Commission.
