The author’s purposal is to confront two main traditions within the german culture, the concept of social justice versus the «social coldness». Therefore, she sketches a history of these phenomena and shows the philosophical roots of the problem. Another aspect of her argumentation is the analysis of social movements and public policies in Germany.
