Benjamin Kienzle is a researcher at the Observatory of European Foreign Policy and undertakes doctoral studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona with a scholarship of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His research focuses on CFSP issues, in particular crisis management and non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, in the EU’s neighbouring countries. He holds a Master of Arts with distinction in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Ulster (2003) and was Robert Schuman trainee in the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament (2004).
