The commentary, based on data of the french statistical Office Insee, underlines the inequal situation of several professional groups concerning health and life expectancy. In France, the everage expectancy among industrial workers is 6,5 years lower than those of highly qualified employees. The ineqaulity is even worse concerning women. The authors also resume other statisticla aspects, such as working accidents, which show the same discrepancy.
