• APPEL A COMMUNICATION - 2008 : INTERNATIONAL POLITICAL SOCIOLOGY

  International Political Sociology (IPS), dont le premier numéro est paru en mars 2007, est la cinquième revue de l’Association des Etudes Internationales (International Studies Association) publiée par Wiley-Blackwell. La création d’IPS vise à répondre à la diversification des apports, des sujets et des intérêts universitaires au sein des études traitant de l’international. Elle encourage tout particulièrement le dialogue entre les relations internationales, les traditions de la sociologie historique et politique, et la théorie politique. Sa singularité réside dans l’initiative collective de chercheurs européens, canadiens, américains et australiens pour faire de cette revue un nouvel espace ouvert aux innovations théoriques et empiriques dans le domaine des relations internationales. IPS encourage vivement les analyses transdisciplinaires des phénomènes du monde contemporain en offrant un lieu de rencontre pour les universitaires du monde entier.

  Beginning in 2007, International Political Sociology is the fifth journal supported by the International Studies Association and its inception responds to the need for more productive collaboration among political sociologists, international relations specialists and sociopolitical theorists. Its uniqueness lies in the combined initiative of researchers from Europe, Canada, the USA and Australia to make this journal a new venue for theoretical and empirical innovation in the field of international relations. IPS strongly encourages transdisciplinary analysis of contemporary world phenomena by offering a meeting space for scholars from all over the world.

• IPS Conference Proceedings : International, Political, Sociology, October 26th-27th 2007

  On October 26th and 27th, 2007, researchers and specialists gathered at the premises of Sciences Po-Paris to start a debate on the concepts of international, political and sociology at the conference organized by IPS (International Political Sociology Journal ) and the COST network , under the scientific responsibility of Didier Bigo (CERI-Sciences Po-Paris) and R.B.J. Walker (University of Victoria / Keele University).

• Conference International, Political, Sociology 26-27 October 2007

  The joint IPS/COST conference that will take place next October 26-27 at the CERI-Sciences Po (Paris) is organized in the broader scope of the journal International Political Sociology (IPS) launching. IPS is the Journal of one of the section with the same name of the International Studies Association (ISA). Its newness lies in the combine initiative of researchers from around Europe, Canada, the USA and Australia actually interested in making this journal a new venue for theoretical and empirical innovation in International Relations.

Hébergée au CERI-Sciences Po, cette revue est rattachée à la section portant le même nom au sein de l’International Studies Association.

  The International Studies Association is pleased to announce the launch of IPS: International Political Sociology, a new interdisciplinary journal to be published beginning in 2007. Responding to the diversification of both scholarly interests and regional concerns in contemporary international studies, it will draw especially on traditions of historical, legal, economic and political sociology, as well as on the burgeoning literatures on socio-political theory.

  IPS: International Political Sociology va venir s’adjoindre dès janvier 2007 au groupe des quatre revues de l’Association des Etudes Internationales (International Studies Association) publiées par Blackwell. La création d’IPS vise à répondre à la diversification des apports, des sujets et des intérêts académiques au sein des études traitant du mondial. Elle encouragera tout particulièrement le dialogue entre les relations internationales et les traditions de la sociologie historique et politique ainsi que de la théorie politique.
