This report is based on the speeches and discussions held at the Our Voices Heard – Amare Glasura Ashunde – a Romani Women’s Rights Conference that was organized by the Swedish Ministry of Integration and Gender Equality, the Council of Europe and the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights in December 2007 in Sweden.
The themes addressed in the report include combating social exclusion, multiple discrimination of Romani women, Romani woman’s rights, combating trafficking, equal access to public health care and respecting reproductive rights.
