Faculty of Educational Sciences


The Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Genoa (Italy), comprises four different curricula preparing for the following first and second cycle degrees : Educational Sciences, Primary Educational Sciences, Processes in Psychological Development and Human Resources Management, and Communication Sciences. The Faculty also offers three Master level courses in Multimedia Technologies for Distance Learning, Work Orientation and Activation Policies, and Methodologies for Personal Aid Services. Very soon a new Master on Migration and Trans-national Social Relations will be launched.

In the framework of student exchange programmes as Socrates/Erasmus funded by the European Union, the Faculty has established strong collaborative links with universities in France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Finland, United Kingdom and Greece.

Several professors from the Faculty of Educational Sciences and other faculties of the University of Genoa participate in research projects and have formed research networks, at Italian and European level, on two topics : « European Citizenship », and « Europe and the New Wars ».
